Increased noise level from Monday, September 7, 2015
Kassel / Reckrod / Mecklar. Due to construction work on the MIDAL (Mitte-Deutschland-Anbindungsleitung), the pipeline between Reckrod and Mecklar must be cleared of gas.
There may therefore be increased noise levels at the Reckrod compressor station on Monday, September 7 from 7 a.m. The construction work should be completed by September 11, 2015.
The MIDAL is part of the GASCADE long-distance gas pipeline network. 679 kilometers long, it runs from Bunde in Northern Germany to Ludwigshafen in Rhineland-Palatinate. It measures up to a meter in diameter.
