Work on commissioning the Reckrod 2 compressor station continues

Since the end of September, GASCADE Gastransport GmbH has been gradually commissioning the new Reckrod 2 compressor station in the market town of Eiterfeld. The first phase has now been completed, and the second phase will start on Monday, 24 November 2025.
Hydrogen for Thuringia – network operators present current status

Back in March 2024, network operators Ferngas, GASCADE and TEN signed a memorandum of understanding on converting Thuringia's natural gas network to hydrogen. At the joint event ‘Hydrogen for Thuringia’, they are now presenting their progress and goals for a sustainable energy supply based on hydrogen.

The Baltic Sea Hydrogen Collector (BHC) project has received €15.3 million in EU funding to support preparatory work for a future cross-border hydrogen infrastructure.
