Adoption of comprehensive measures for the coronavirus // Secure supply of natural gas is ensured
As the operator of a critical infrastructure for gas supply, the crisis and emergency service provided by GASCADE Gastransport GmbH is currently proving to be successful. “We continue to operate smoothly in spite of the circumstances and the gas supply has been ensured,” explains GASCADE Managing Director Christoph von dem Bussche. “Of course, we are constantly monitoring the situation so that we can make changes as needed.”
“Rules and measures are in place at all of our locations, which are aimed at preventing or slowing down the spread of the virus,” adds Managing Director Igor Uspenskiy. “To ensure the gas supply, the smooth running of operations and the safety of employees, comprehensive measures have been taken since the coronavirus started to spread.” These measures include hygiene regulations, travel restrictions, social distancing, in addition to telephone and digital forms of communication.
Ever since this week, employees at the GASCADE headquarters in Kassel, with just a few exceptions, are working remotely from home to further reduce the risk of infection. In addition, a travel ban applies to our stations and facilities. This is intended to prevent contact between the remaining employees working at the various locations.
