Invitation to tender for fuel gas

GASCADE Gastransport GmbH requires natural gas for operating of its gas transportation system European Gas Pipeline Link EUGAL including Lubmin gas transfer station, Radeland compressor station and Deutschneudorf export station, which will be supplied at stations Lubmin 2, Radeland 2 and Deutschneudorf.

Non-binding estimates for these stations is an annual requirement of approximately 125,000 MWh. Gas traders are requested to take part in an invitation to tender for the sale and supply of fuel gas, whereat all three stations are together for tender.

GASCADE Gastransport GmbH is requesting tenders for the sale and supply of fuel gas in the period from 1 October 2019 to 1 October 2020 for full supply in the GASPOOL market area. Consumption points as RLM exit points are introduced into the supplier’s balancing group for this purpose. In addition to the gas supply, the supplier therefore also accepts the balancing group risk and all connected costs.

The offer to sell and supply fuel gas will be based on a master agreement and an individual agreement as an annex to the master agreement which the GASCADE Gastransport GmbH concludes with the gas trader who wins the contract. The individual agreement as an annex to the master contract in particular regulates the pricing of the fuel gas quantities to be procured.

Sellers wishing to offer fuel gas must first take part in a prequalification process so as to be able to present their terms of sale and delivery in the subsequent invitation to tender and bidding phase.

Deadlines

Pursuant to Section 2 item (3) of the invitation to tender conditions, all the documents required for prequalification must be received by 12 noon on 16 August 2019.

The tender and bidding phase in accordance with Section 3 of the invitation to tender conditions ends at 12 noon on 23 August 2019.

The contract award phase conducted by the GASCADE Gastransport GmbH in accordance with Section 4 of the invitation to tender conditions will end at 12 noon on 3 September 2019.
