Transmission system operators invite tenders for purchase and supply of fuel gas


KASSEL. GASCADE Gastransport GmbH and OPAL Gastransport GmbH & Co KG are once inviting tenders for the supply of fuel gas to operate their pipelines and stations.

The requested H-gas is to be used to operate the EUGAL pipeline, the Lubmin 2 natural gas receiving station, the Radeland 2 compressor station and the Deutschneudorf natural gas export station. In an initial estimate, GASCADE Gastransport GmbH expects demand to be around 75,000 MWh in total. The sales and supply period will run from 1 October 2022 to 1 April 2023 for full supply in the THE market area.

To operate the Baltic Sea Pipeline Link OPAL, including the Radeland compressor station and the Greifswald landing station, OPAL Gastransport GmbH & Co. KG needs natural gas at the delivery points in Radeland and Greifswald. The estimated demand for six months is 193,000 MWh.

The offer for the sale, supply and balancing of fuel gas will be based on a master agreement and a data and price sheet. That is how the pricing of the fuel gas quantities, in particular, will be regulated. Sellers who want to offer fuel gas must first undergo a pre-qualification procedure in order to then be able to then offer sales and supply terms and conditions within the tender and bidding phase.

Deadlines

All the documents required for prequalification for this Invitation to Tender must be received by 12 noon on 24 August 2022 in accordance with Section 2 (3) of the Invitation to Tender Terms and Conditions.

The offer and bidding phase ends at 12 noon on 6 September 2022 in accordance with Section 3 of the Invitation to Tender Terms and Conditions.

The contract award phase ends at 12 noon on 8 September 2022 in accordance with the Invitation to Tender Terms and Conditions of GASCADE Gastransport GmbH
